Chelsea secure deal for Diego Lopez

Chelsea trying to secure deal to bring AC Milan Spanish-goalkeeper Diego Lopez to replace out-going Bosnian-goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

With Asmir Begovic reportedly going to join Everton, Chelsea trying to find replacement in Diego Lopez.

According to reports from Gazzetta Chelsea have shown a strong interest in the goalkeeper and already had meet with his agent last week to finalize the deal to bring him to Stamford bridge.

The former Real Madrid goalkeeper had joined AC Milan before two season ​ago. Last season, he loss his place for the upcoming star Italian-goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. AC Milan will try to offload the goalkeeper as they will have back Brazilian Shot-stopper Gabriel who spent last season on-loan at Napoli.

If the deal naturalize the 34-years will battle with Belgium star Thibaut Courtois for first spot as Antonio Conte is looking for a solid goalkeeper to battle with Thibaut Courtois.

Diego Lopez will be the third sign ​Antonio Conte make as new Chelsea Manager after Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi and France Star N'Golo Kante from Marseille and Leicester City respectively.
