Max Kruse Makes A Return to Werder Bremen

After a difficult campaign in Wolfsburg where Max Kruse scored nine goals in 43 appearances, the 28-year-old striker has returned to Werder Bremen where he made his debut in the Bundesliga.

Following an amazing season with Freiburg, Max Kruse signed for Borussia Mönchengladbach on a four-year deal, however, he had a bad debut as his side lost to SV Darmstadt 98 in the first round of the DFB-Pokal.

Kruse joined Wolfsburg in 2015 after agreeing to a five-year-deal, but could last for only a year in the wolves jersey.

Werder Bremen is in need of a striker after selling their star striker Anthony Ujah, to Chinese Super League side Liaoning FC.

Kruse would be an important signing at the Weserstadion since he is a playmaker and can be used in various positions.

Kruse is highly elated to be back with his old club and looks to help the club regain its strength.

The German striker has been capped 14 times for his country but missed out on a spot in the squad for Euro 2016
