Lacazzette could be on his way to Arsenal

Lacazette, who only recently signed a new four-year deal at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, has attracted interest all over the world after scoring 92 goals in 230 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit.

Arsenal reportedly had a £30m bid for the talismanic striker rejected but reports suggest that the Gunners are preparing to table a brand new bid for Lacazette's services.

Lyon manager Bruno Genesio says 'there are some offers that you cannot refuse'

And by the looks of things Arsenal look set to land the striker thanks to a statement by Bruno Genesio.

"He can leave if Lyon want him to," said the 49-year-old.

"There are some offers that you cannot refuse. My desire as manager is that the best players stay and Lacazette is very important for the team.

"I have been assured by my president that we will keep the player. You never know what could happen right up until August 31."

Lacazette would be an excellent addition to Arsenal's attacking third thanks to his immense technical proficiency and poacher's instinct.

Wenger seems bent on injecting his squad with some much needed pace and skills although he has already secured the signings of Granit Xhaka, Takuma Asano and Rob Holding.

The Gunner's look set to challenge for the League title next season and with Lacazette in the side, there's no doubt about the fact that Arsenal are pure title contenders.

Lacazette would benefit immensely from the presence of a creative force such as Mesut Ozil who has the ability to create something out of nothing, although it remains to be seen if Arsenal can lure Lacazette to the Emirates.
