Ukraine have appointed former AC Milan and Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko as their new manager.
Shevchenko, who had 111 cap with Ukraine, has replace the out-going coach Mykhaylo Fomenko after he mange Ukraine for the last 4-years.
The farmer AC Milan striker, has never worked before as manger, will mange for the next two years with possible of two more.
Shevchenko start his career with Dynamo Kyiv before joining AC Milan. Later he join Chelsea. He is the holder of Ukrainian scoring record with 48 goals in the international level.
He will be joined with former AC Milan assistance coach Mauro Tassotti, and former Dynamo coach Raul Riancho.
Ukraine will begin world cup qualification campaign against Island at home in group I in the Europe qualification.
