transfer market - done deals

Premier League Done Deals Until Saturday 10/6/2017

The transfer window hasn’t officially commenced yet, but deals are already going through in full swing with a handful of Premier League sides doing their business early.

Here are some of the deals that have been sealed so far;

Arsenal completed the signing of Croatia international Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer.

He finished the 2016/17 Bundesliga season with Schalke in good form which led to him being voted as the league’s best left-back.

He’s adept with the ball at his feet; he’s also good at launching attacks from deep. Kolasinac marks Arsenal’s first foray into the transfer market.

Bournemouth have signed Chelsea’s backup goalkeeper, Asmir Begovic for a fee in the region of £10million.

He was fairly reliable for the Blues when called upon; hence, he’s likely to hit the ground running in the South Coast.

Artur Boruc’s abysmal performances prompted Eddie Howe to sign Begovic. Begovic will provide some healthy competition for Boruc, which will result in improved performances in goal for Bournemouth

Bournemouth have also completed the signing of Frankie Vincent from Barnet FC.

Newly promoted Brighton and Hove Albion have brought in two players – Pascall Gross and Josh Kerr who previously plied their trades at Ingolstadt and Celtic respectively.

Both players’ transfer fees were not disclosed.

Billy Gilmore has arrived at Chelsea from Scottish outfit Rangers FC for a fee of £500k.

Championship playoff winners Huddersfield Town have agreed on a £1.13million deal with Ingolstadt for Elias Kachunga

Liverpool’s only piece of transfer business so far is their acquisition of former Chelsea man Dominic Solanke. The Reds paid £3million for the Englishman’s services.

Elsewhere, Manchester City will be keen on launching a title bid having signed Portuguese playmaker Bernardo Silva from Monaco and Brazilian shot-stopper Ederson Moraes from Benfica.

Both players cost £42.5million and £35million respectively.

Newcastle United will be looking to have a successful return season to the Premier League. They’ve signed Chelsea starlet Christian Atsu for £6.2m as a show of intent – you can expect more deals to roll in when the transfer window opens.

Stoke City have brought in Darren Fletcher from West Brom on a free transfer whilst Watford have signed Tom Cleverly from Everton for an undisclosed fee.

And last but not least, West Ham managed to snap Pablo Zabaleta up on a free transfer from Manchester City. Slaven Bilic will be hoping that the Argentine full-back hits the ground running at the Olympic Stadium.
