Mario Balotelli linked with Manchester United

Liverpool striker linked with a shock move

Italian website Gazzetta Dello Sport has claimed that super-agent Mario Raiola has offered Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli to Man Utd.

Raiola as played a significant role in United’s summer transfer business as he also represents three of United’s summer acquisitions – Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba.

The report claims that Raiola is using his influence at United to make them sign the Italian striker.

Balotelli has been told by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp that he is not a part of his plans at Anfield and should look for a new club for himself.

United manager Jose Mourinho, who has previously worked with the 26-year-old at Inter Milan, recently met with the player to advise him regarding his faltering career.

Meanwhile, another report from France Football has suggested that Balotelli could be on his way to Ligue 1.

The report claims that French club Nantes are said to be interested in signing the player, and Raiola has been to Nantes recently to discuss a potential move.

The likes of Sassuolo, Bologna and Besiktas, are also said to be keeping tabs on the player.

Balotelli spent last season on loan with AC Milan, but could score only one league goal in his injury-ravaged spell with his former club.
