Malaga secured a 4-0 win at La Rosaleda with Leganes failing to register any goals in the encounter, elsewhere; Barcelona secured a 3-2 win over Valencia in a game which was decided by a last-minute penalty.

Espanyol played host to Eibar at the RCDE stadium in what proved to be a thrilling encounter as the scores ended 3-3.

Real Sociedad secured a 3-0 victory over Alaves with Sociedad winning their third consecutive home game. Elsewhere; Granada was held to a goalless draw by Sporting Gijon with the home side yet to win a game this season.

Real Betis were saved by a last-gasp free-kick from Felipe Gutierrez which helped secure a 2-1 victory over Osasuna.

Joaquin bagged Betis’ opener with a deftly executed lob in the 19th minute, Roberto Torres then scored Osasuna’s equaliser before Gutierrez struck a sublime free-kick from 30-yards out in stoppage time to earn his side the three points.
