Everton in talks with Joe Hart

Everton to make high-profile moves in the coming days

Everton are going to have quite a busy conclusion to the transfer window if the latest reports are to be believed.

The Toffees are aiming to enter the big league of clubs following the recent takeover by businessman Farhad Moshiri, and it reflects in their transfer plans this summer.

The Telegraph reports that the Merseyside club have placed a bid to sign Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The England international has fallen out of favour at City following Pep Guardiola’s arrival at the club and is expected to leave the club before the transfer window shuts down on August 31.

Toffees manager Ronald Koeman has already signed Dutch keeper Maarten Stekelenburg, but he doesn’t want to give up on the opportunity to sign Hart.

It’s still not clear whether the Merseyside club aim to sign Hart on a loan move or a permanent move.

Everton have also been linked with a move for FC Porto winger Yacine Brahimi, according to Sky Sports.

The report claims that the Toffees are currently involved in talks with the Portuguese club over the signing of the Algeria international.

However, the 26-year-old is not too keen on a move as he wants to sign only for a Champions League club in England. He was also linked with a move to Arsenal recently.
